How it works
From sign-up to the first text
PayCadence sends one category of message: reminders about the bill due dates you have entered into your PayCadence calendar. Nothing else is sent to your number, ever.
Add your bills
Enter each biller, the amount and the day of the month it is due. Takes about five minutes for a typical household.
Confirm your number
We text you once to confirm. Reply YES and reminders begin. Reply STOP and nothing further is sent.
Get reminded before the date
Three days before and again on the due date, PayCadence texts you the biller, the amount and the date. Nothing else.
The opt-in flow, step by step
- You submit the form. The SMS checkbox is unchecked by default and is separate from the Terms checkbox. We record the timestamp, the page URL and the exact consent wording you agreed to.
- We send one confirmation text. Nothing else is sent until you answer it.
- You reply YES. That reply is stored with its own timestamp. This is the double opt-in.
- Alerts begin. Only the message types listed on this page are ever sent.
- You reply STOP whenever you want. The number is suppressed within 60 seconds and excluded from all future sending.
If you never reply YES, no program messages are sent and the pending record expires after 30 days.
